- The U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii has need for industrial refuse services consisting of garbage collection and disposal services at various U.S. Army installations on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract consisting of a base and four option periods, each twelve months in duration. Anticipated contract start date is April 1, 2009 with period of performance through March 31, 2010 with 4 pre-priced 12-month option periods. Solicitation W912CN-09-R-0013 will be posted o/a January 16, 2009 at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ (go to Contracting Opportunities Search, Select Contracting Office: ACA Fort Shafter, then Continue button). Interested offerors are required to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments from this website. Once posted on the website, interested offerors are responsible for monitoring the website until the closing date for any issued amendments or changes. NAICS 562111, Solid Waste Collection.
