- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This synopsis solicitation number is W8145683260002. (iii) This synopsis solicitation RFQ and the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18 (July 5, 2007). (iv)The applicable NAICS is 451110. (v) This synopsis solicitation contains (2) line item. Quotes are being sought from Total Small Business. Shipping must be FOB destination, with delivery to Fort Richardson, Alaska (vii) Delivery location: 59th Signal Battalion, HHD; Property Book ATTN: Tiffany Brogan, Building 661, B Street, FORT RICHARDSON, ALASKA 99505-0525 Acceptance will be Government: Fort Richardson, Alaska 99505 21 February 2009. CLIN0001: SNOWSHOES116 Description: -Snowshoes required to hold at minimum a 125 pounds load or greater. -Platform with nonstick deck to shed snow and ice nonstick deck; -Steel Traction Bars-serrated edges run the length of the shoe on both sides; - Steel Crampons: Hardened Steel Crampons with gripping teeth front and rear - Braking Bars Quad-point braking bars work in conjunction with the steel crampons -Flexible Binding: - Packs flat; stays moisture-free and adjustable in freezing conditions. -Heel Stabilizer - Crampon extension to eliminate heel drift -Black in color -Approximate dimensions: 8 x 22 -Without tails, CLIN 0002TAILS116 Description: -Black in color -8 inch Snowshoe Flotation Tails - Snowshoe with tail must support at least 225 pounds.
