- Description
- The Directorate of Contacting, Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to move used furniture and appliances from ten barracks buildings on Fort Drum, NY. The successful Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform all work in connection with moving furniture and appliances from buildings P-10512, P-10514, P-10522, P-10524, P-10612, P-10614 P-10622, P-10632, P-10642, P-10644 to on-post storage facilities or government provided dumpsters. After building renovations are complete, move designated furniture and appliances from storage facilities back to the afore listed buildings. Move-out is anticipated to be conducted between 20 January to 28 February 2009. Move-in is anticipated to take place between October to December 2009. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ), W911S2-09-T-3009, on or about 19 December 2008 with a tentative closing date of 2 January 2009. The RFQ will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The anticipated award date is 9 January 2009. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS 484210. This can be done by accessing the Internet at (www.ccr.gov) or calling 1-888-227-2423. Representations and certifications must also be on record through ORCA at www.orca.bpn.gov.
