- Description
- This notice replaces notice SPM4A508R0852 issed in September 2008. A solicitation containing 12 NSNs will be issued to establish a firm-fixed price contract for various similar aircraft replacement parts. The total quantity of the solicitation will be 84 each. These items are not used in the commercial sector. The Boeing Company, CAGE 81205, is the sole approved manufacturing source for all 12 NSNs. DSCR does not have an approved technical data package available for any of the NSNs. The proposed terms will be Inspection/Acceptance/FOB Origin, delivery 195 days ARO. The solicitation will be unrestricted utilizing other than full and open competition. It is anticipated that an award will be made against the OEM's Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) and a letter solicitation will be utilized; however, a copy of the solicitation will be made available upon request. In order to receive an award, regardless of dollar value, you must be registered in the Central Contactor Registration (CCR). Alternate offerors must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package along with a completed copy of the solicitation in order to be considered for award. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation utilizing the Automated Best Value System (ABVS).
