Description

Sir Description: The Federal Aviation Administration Western-Pacific Region; Hereby announces its intention to solicit a request for Offers (RFO). This is a(n) Small Business Set-Aside. Awards resulting from the (RFO) will be based on best value to the FAA giving consideration to: (1) Total cost to the FAA, and (2) Offeror's past performance and experience with the same similar work. The successful offeror shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, supplies, tools, and supervision necessary to replace one existing Air Cooled Liquid Chiller and associated motor starters, one expansion tank, one bypass chemical pot feeder, three Fan Coil Units, and associated piping, valves, and accessories shown on project drawings..Note: All Vendors that reply to the announcement must be registered in Central Contractors Registration (CCR) in order to do Business with the FAA: WWW.CCR.GOV. Solicitation will only be issued to Vendors that reply to the annoucement by the closing date. Also all vendors that reply to the announcement must provide Company Name, Contact Person, Company Physical Address, Phone Number, Fax Number, and E-mail Address when requesting a SIR. Incomplete request such as P.O. Boxes will not be accepted. T3.6.1 - Small Business Development Program (Revision 21, October 2007)Small Business Development 5 : DOT Lending Program a. To promote the financial assistance programs available from the OSDBU (S-40), procurement teams should add the following information in each public announcement of procurement: "This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
