- This is a presolicitation announcement for The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, Michigan 48201. An Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about January 9, 2009 for the construction/modification of the Pharmacy Intravenous (IV) Mixing Room. The modification to the Pharmacy Mixing Room is to insure compliance with USP 797 standards. This project includes complete gutting and renovation of approximately 950 square feet of the Pharmacy compounding space. The NAICS code is 236220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The cost range is $500,000.00 - $1,000,000.00. Contractors must have experience in similar hospital construction projects of this nature and size in order to bid on this project. This project is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The bid opening will be scheduled on or about February 25, 2009.
