The work is to be performed in Lakeland, TN (Shelby County). The Contractor shall provide one complete hydraulic rotary drilling unit, all tool, accessories, power, lighting, all other equipment, and experienced personnel necessary to conduct drilling and pumping operations.. This is a requirement under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS Code is 237110, "Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction". The magnitude of the requirement ranges between $100,000 and $250,000. All work is expected to be completed one calendar year from Notice to Proceed. A site visit will be not be held. Questions regarding this RFQ may be submitted in writing to enemmers@usgs.gov. Questions and answers will be posted via an amendment to solicitation. Solicitation 08ERSS0010 will be issued on or about Wednesday, January 05, 2008 with proposals due on or about Monday, February 4, 2008, 4:00 PM EST, documents can be found at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Contact NBC Electronic Commerce Help Desk at 703-390-6633 with problems accessing information of the NBC website. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a proposal with a quotation which shall be considered by the USGS. A vendor must be registered in CCR (website http://www.ccr.gov) to be awarded the contract. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the NBC posting system at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the NBC website for any solicitation amendments.
