- The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to Shealy Environmental Services, Inc. in Cayce, SC for Environmental monitoring of ground water chemistry for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast (NAVFACSE) to be delivered to USGS, South Carolina Water Science Center, 720 Gracern Road, Stephenson Center, Suite 129, Columbia, SC by 01/02/2010.This requirement has a base year with two option years. Shealy Environmental Services, Inc. is the only known source for this requirement because, Shealy Environmental Services has been analyzing samples from these sites for the last six years using EPA method 8260, and have performed the work with exceptional accuracy. As part of their analytical protocol, the have developed site-specific QA/QC analytical procedures specific to the level of contaminants found at each monitoring well. To be consistent with EPA guidance, and to insure integrity and continuity of the data over time, Shealy Analytical Laboratories is the only laboratory that can meet the needs of this project, USGS, and our NAVFAC cooperators. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: abenton@usgs.gov.
