- THIS IS A SOLE SOURCES NOTICE. The Department of Veterans Affairs Eastern Colorado Health Care System Medical Center (ECHCS), located in Denver, Colorado intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Clarient Inc., 31 Columbia, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656, to acquire specialized genetic testing services for cytology and surgical specimens obtained by major interventional procedures. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within the due date for receipt of proposals will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract.
