- The Joint Contracting Command-Iraq/Afghanistan, MNSCT-I Support Division (MSD), APO-AE 09348 announces its intention to issue a commercial solicitation for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training utilizing Full and Open Competition under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 611619. The requirement is to develop and provide Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training for the Iraqi National Police. The intent is to conduct four (4) Explosive Ordnance Disposal classes over a 60 week period to graduate students to level 4 status according to the United Nations International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) 09.30. Place of Performance is in Government of Iraq provided facilities on a government installation; Period of Performance is 60 weeks. Any resultant contract is expected to be Firm-Fixed Price. This is not the Request for Quote. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that Solicitation No. W91GY0-09-R-0012 will be available for download on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about December 20, 2008. It is the sole responsibility of the interested offerors to continually monitor the website for any amendments to this notice or resultant solicitation. All responsible sources shall be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. The Government reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the subject solicitation for any reasonable basis, either before or after the closing date.
