- The Fort Drum Directorate of Contracting intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract, for Railroad Maintenance. The required service associated with this action are to provide all supervision, plant, labor and equipment necessary to perform all work to perform preventative maintenance, and emergency service calls for 3 Railroad Crossing signals at Fort Drum. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Solicitation W911S2-09-T-3007 will be issued on or about December 17, 2008 on the Army Single Face to Industrys (ASFI) web page at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. The size standard for the NAICS Code is $7 million. Interested parties may identify their interest in, and capability to respond to, the requirement by submitting documentation indicating their capabilities and qualifications to perform this effort to the identified point of contact no later than 22 December 2008. The information received will be considered solely for informational purposes and the Government will not pay for such information received.
