- Life-of-type requirment for an obsolete part, a PCMCIA Flash Memory Card (PCMCIA Card), P/N 7430227, supplied by BAE Systems ins support of the Advanced Tactical Airborne Reconnaissance System (ATARS) used on the F/A-18D. A quantity of twenty-four (24) each PCMCIA Cards are used in each 48GByte Removable Memeory Module (RMM), of which two are required per ATARS mission. The quantity of 500 each PCMCIA Cards is the estimate requirement for the next 10-years support of the ATARS. The ATARS consists of a Low- and Medium-altitude, visible-light sensing system intergrated with Infrared (IR) sensisng system.
