- Description
- The work includes the rehabilitation of the union township drainage district pump station as described below. Accessibility to the contract sites may be limited due to flooding conditions, changing weather, and Mississippi river water levels. This will cause a corresponding change to area road and site accessibility. The contractor shall inspect the assessable routes for accessibility to the contract sites before beginning the work at the pump station. The scope of work for this project shall include, but not be limited to the following, The project shall provide and install one new diesel fuel engine, replace fuel oil piping, and provide a new concrete equipment pad and tie down straps for one existing diesel fuel tank. The two right angle gear drive units and the three vertical turbine pumps shall be pulled, taken to a manufacturers approved facility, inspected, cleaned, flushed, lubricated, and reinstalled. Any additional repairs to the pumps or gear drives shall be noted during the inspection and reported back to the government contracting representative. An existing abandoned vacuum pump system and piping shall be removed and cap end connection points to the system risers. The pump station door shall be reinstalled, broken glass replaced, and missing fence replaced. Remove and replace all receptacles, toggle switches, light fixtures, disconnects, premises wiring, service entrance panel board, and service entrance conductors. Provide metal grating around existing pumps and provide concrete pad and tie down straps for existing diesel fuel tank. The estimated price range of the project is $500,000 to $1,000,000.
