Description
The United States Department of Education (Department) is intending to re-compete its Multiple Award Task Order Contracts (MATO). The MATO has been an important part of how the Department does business. The purpose of the MATO is to make available to customers a streamlined, competitively priced contracting mechanism. The contract is for use by all principal offices within the Department and independent organizations affiliated with the Department (see Appendix A in the SOW). The MATO contracts will help individual program offices meet their procurement needs for products and services across a wide range of subject areas relating to key education issues, in a cost-effective and expedited manner. The nature and scope of the work will vary from task to task. The majority of tasks will involve, but are not be limited to, literature reviews, and syntheses, collection of data (case studies, panel reviews, evaluations, and surveys), data and policy analyses, statistical analysis, descriptive and outcome evaluations relating to program performance and/or Federal Education policy and other activities set forth in the Statement of Work. The Task to be performed will be listed under three (3) categories: A.Policy, Program, and Performance Analysis and Assessment B.Research and Evaluation Design, Data Collection and Analysis C.Provide support on an as-needed basis for the activities outlined in the SOW. Scope of Work Please see attached Draft Statement of Work The Department’s current MATO contract is due to expire in 2009. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond to this Request for Information with questions, comments, and input about the attached “Draft Statement of Work” Any input that businesses or interested parties would like to provide about the re-compete of the Department’s MATO contract will be reviewed and considered.
