- Description
- The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and incidental supplies necessary to pave Pandapas Pond Road and Parking Lots. This project is located on the Eastern Divide Ranger District of the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests in Montgomery County, Virginia. Primary items of work include clearing and grubbing, removal of structures, crushed aggregate, reconditioning of roadbed, hot bituminous pavement, 18 and 24 inch bituminous coated corrugated steel pipe, drop inlet, perforated under drain, portland cement concrete, machine placed riprap, seeding and mulching, and traffic markings. Project is located at the Pandapas Pond recreation area. Travel west from Blacksburg, VA on US460 approximately 6 miles. This project is estimated at between $250,000 and $500,000. A pre-bid meeting/showing will be scheduled in the solicitation. This procurement is a HUBZone Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 237310. Successful offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database. You may register at the CCR website at www.ccr.gov. This solicitation will be available on this website on or around January 14, 2009. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Award will be made on a best value basis.
