- U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District Pre-Solicitation Notice The Kansas City District, Corps of Engineers will be issuing a solicitation on or about 5 January 2009 for mowing and trimming services at Pomona Lake Project Office, Vassar, Kansas. Work shall consist of mowing and trimming at various locations within the boundaries of the lake project. The contractor shall furnish all manpower, equipment and tools necessary to provide the required services. Kansas City District intends to award one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. The period of performance is to be five (5) years. The NAICS code is 561730 with a size standard of $6,500,000.00. This will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside. This size standard applies for the establishment of eligibility as a small business. Please note to be eligible for award of this projects you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the CCR Website which is www.ccr.gov. Additionally you must complete Online Representation and Certifications (ORCA) at the ORCA website which is www.orca.bpn.gov. Proposals must be received at the contracting office per the instructions that will be included in the solicitation. No electronic submission of proposals is allowed.
