- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Advanced Occupational Education, Business Management Technology Program for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution, Elkton, located at 8730 Scroggs Road, Elkton, Ohio. Contractor will administer Business Management Technology Program courses. It is anticipated that enrollment will be approximately 15 students per class. The successful contractor will conduct four (4) classes per week, with each class consisting of three (3) one hour weekly sessions. Total sessions are estimated to be 432 over a three semester year. Sessions are expected to be conducted weekday evenings between 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM Monday through Thursday. Contractor must be accredited by a nationally recognized organization. The contract shall consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 9, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is February 6, 2009. Anticipated date of award is March 3, 2009. This will be a full and open competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
