- Description
- The 482nd Contracting Office, Homestead Air Reserve Base (HARB), Dade County, Florida is issuing a solicitation for non-personal commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12 for the monthly maintenance of the Personnel and Laundry elevators located in various areas inside the base. The entirety of this acquisition will be for a base year which will commence on 01 April 09 to 31 March 2010 with Four (4) additional option years renewable after the First year for a total of Five (5) years. This solicitation will be an unrestricted full and open competition. The work covered by this contract consists of, but not limited to, the furnishing of all plant, labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all requirements to perform all operations in conjunction with monthly preventative maintenance safety inspection and repair in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, and commercial practices as described in the corresponding Statement of Work (SOW). Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) 252.204-7004, required Central Contractor Regulation will be incorporated in the contract. Prospective offeror must be registered and active within the database of the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) with a valid cage code at the time of the offer submittal. Lack of registration in the CCR database will render an offeror ineligible for award. Contractors are recommended to initiate CCR registration and/or complete your annual confirmation requirements via the internet at: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-800-227-2423. Additionally, the successful offeror will be required to submit invoices using the Wide Area Workflow-Receipt and Acceptance (WAWF-RA). Information regarding @WAWF-RA is available on the internet at: https://wawf.eb.mil. This will be a request for quote. All responsible sources may request a solicitation package after the site visitation, in writing to 482nd MSG/CONF/LGC, 29050 Coral Sea Blvd., Homestead, ARB, FL 33039-1299 or by e-mail to Ernesto.chaves@homestead.af.mil. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATION PACKAGES WILL BE ACCEPTED. All requests should include solicitation number, company name, address, telephone and fax number, e-mail address and point/person of contact. You may bring a prepared request during the site visit to be able to obtain the package. Site visitation will be scheduled on December 29, 2008, Monday, at 9:00 A.M. A temporary base pass will be issued subject to presentation of acceptable identification forms. Please report to the address above at room 121 & 122.
