- Description
- The Office of Naval Research (ONR) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Ballston Investors Group, LLC (BIG) located at 4075 Wilson Blvd., Suite 400, Arlington, VA for the management of the One Liberty Center (OLC) parking facility on or about 31 December 2008. ONR and other Government entities, under the conditions of a General Services Administration (GSA) lease, occupy office space in the building owned by BIG. The One Liberty Center parking facility is located directly beneath the building leased by GSA, but the parking facility is not covered in the lease. In order to increase security and control access to the building and parking area, the Contractor shall restrict public access to the parking facility to OLC tenants and approved visitors. The Government intends to issue a Purchase Order in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 entitled “Acquisition of Commercial Items”. The order will contain a six (6) month base period and a six (6) month option. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however any quotes received by the closing date and time will be considered by the Government. Questions regarding this RFQ should be submitted to Mrs. Gail Cunningham no later than three (3) business days before the response date of the solicitation. Any quotes received by the closing date and time will be considered by the Government. Any responses received after the closing date and time will be treated as a late submission. Responses to the notice should be submitted to Ms. Gail Cunningham at cunning@onr.navy.mil by 2:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time) on 30 December 2008.
