- The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for mowing, cleaning and general operation and maintenance services for Dillon Lake, OH, located on the Licking River, a tributary of the Muskingam River in Muskingum County near Zanesville, Ohio and Tom Jenkins Dam, Ohio located on the branch of Sunday Creek in the Hocking River Valley in Athens County near the city of Glouster, Ohio. Approximate time will be calendar year 2009 with four additional one year option periods. The contract will be Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery type contract, competitively negotiated, not-to-exceed $1,600,000. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is within a technical/price competitive range as determined by the Contracting Officer and has been evaliuated as most advantageous to the Government, all factors considered. All responsive proposals will be evaluated utilizing the following factors (A) Experience (B) Past Performance; (C) Management Plan; and (D) Equipment. A pre-proposal conference will be held on 13 January 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Dillon Lake,4969 Dillon Dam Rd.,Zanesville, Ohio. For directions please call the project office at 740-454-2225.
