- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA plans to procure on an other than full and open competition basis from Rolls Royce, Incorporated, 44425 Pecan Court, Suite 201, California, MD 20619, Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) in support of the AV-8B Program and support systems. The Pegasus vectored thrust turbofan engine was designed, developed, and is produced by Roll Royce. They possess proprietary technical data required to fully support the F-402 engines. The requirement is for CETS to provide various fleet and shore activities with the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of Defense personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the AV-8B aircraft. Access to, and understanding of the technical database for specific equipment is essential. The period of performance is expected to be 01 February 2009 through 31 January 2013, with a three year base period and a one-year option period.
