- Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) proposes to award a fixed price contract to EURO Machinery Specialists, Inc. to support the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) Hull Machining Line (HML) located at the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center (JSMC), a Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) manufacturing facility, in Lima, OH. EURO Machinery Specialists, Inc. shall provide spares for the following HML components: Horizontal Mills, Chip Removal System, Coolant System, and the Transfer Line. EURO Machinery Specialists, Inc. shall develop and provide training of the HML to General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) maintenance and operational personnel. EURO Machinery Specialists, Inc. shall provide on-site Field Service Representative for one (1) year to maintain, repair, and assist GDLS in the operation and maintenance of the HML. This award by other than full and open competition is necessary as EURO Machinery Specialists, Inc. is the only known manufacturer having the necessary expertise and capabilities to provide spares, training, repair, and support to the HML. EURO Machinery Specialists, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) for the EFV HML and has been the sole contractor responsible for maintaining, training, repairing, and supporting the EFV HML to date.
