***************SEND ALL INFORMATION INCLUDING QUOTES AND TECHNICAL QUESTIONS INWRITING TO JUDITH DRABKIN AT Judith.R.Drabkin@nasa.gov, FAX: 256-544-4401************This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) will conduct a water flow test of the J-2xinducer design in support of the J-2x engine development. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ)] for Fabrication of theSub-Scale J-2x Inducer Test Rig. See the attachments which include a detailed Statementof Work and drawings. The contractor shall manufacture and/or procure the necessarycomponents according to the information provided in the attached specifications anddrawings.This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.Delivery to Shipping and Receiving Bldg 4631, MSFC, AL 35812. Delivery shall be FOBDestination. Delivery date TBD on acceptance of award.Offers for the items(s) described above are due by December 29, 2008 to Judith Drabkin atJudith.R.Drabkin@nasa.gov; FAX: 256-544-4401, and must include, solicitation number, FOBdestination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warrantyduration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of anyspecial commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. Offerors shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1 (JUNE 2008), Instructionsto Offerors-Commercial Items, which is incorporated by reference. If the end product(s) offered is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in theclause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the offeror shall so state and shall listthe country of origin.FAR 52.212-4 (FEB 2007), Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is applicable.
