- The Jacksonville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is preparing to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide sediment, water, tissue, testing services and related services to customers of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The environment services generally consist of environmental compliance, testing and evaluation of environmental data. A firm-fixed price commercial item contract is considered for this acquisition. This procurement is a small business set-aside. SIC Code is 8999, NAICS Code is 541990, and size standard is $7.0 million. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contracts will be awarded. The contract term will not exceed a total of five years. The minimum guarantee for contract is $3,000.00. Maximum order limits are $3,772,557.00 for each contract year. The Government intends to award without discussions; therefore offerors should submit proposals that contain their best terms. The Government reserves the right to exercise the contract option periods before the expiration of the base contract period or preceding option period, if the contract amount for the base period or preceding option period has been exhausted or nearly exhausted. Individual fixed price task orders, with negotiable line items, will be issued. Solicitation W912EP 09 R-0008 will be issued on 22 December 2008 and offers due on 26 January 2009.
