- Amendment to clarify issues regarding the delivery of 4 motorcycles with sidecars on or before January 15, 2009. The response date of December 19, 2008 remains unchanged. These motorcycles will be used for the 2009 Presidential Inaguration. The following items need to be clarified: The tires for the 2009 model year should reflect, front D407F BW (130/80B17) and rear D407 BW (180/65B16); the warranty shall be 24 months factory warranty and an additional 12 months extended warranty. The lighting for the motorcycle will be the HD standard package. The mirrors will have chrome extensions, which will be added to each motorcycle. Disregard the push to talk feature. The color for the motorcycles and sidecars will be Police Birch White. Quotes are due on December 19, 2008 by 2:00 p.m. CST. Quotes may be faxed to 830-868-7863 attn: Marsha Wagner. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
