- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District anticipates awarding a contract for a vendor to provide by barge 200,000 gallons of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel to Crane Barge 102 delivered between 1 to 8 days ARO, which is located at Ensley Engineer Yard, 2915 Riverport Road in Memphis, TN, 38109. Vendor my fuel barge at Ensley Engineer Yard or takes barge to their location, along with one Corps employee, and returns barge to EEY. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for service disabled veteran owned small business. The associated NAICS code is 424710 with a size of 100 personnel. All responsible sources may submit at quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes may be submitted in hard copy or electronically, either through regular mail, email, or by facsimile. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation to include all charges. The evaluation factors will include price and delivery, with delivery being more important than price. Contractor shall submit completed clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications, Commercial Items.
