- Description
- NBC Contracting Office intends to solicit on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to The United States Postal Service. Their is only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. United States Postal Service postal is the only, that filfulls the accuracyy and compatibility requirements. The Governement intends to acquire a commerical item using FAR PART 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to provide postal stamps to the identified point of contract not later than 4:00 p.m. EST on December 29, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Governemnt not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the goverment. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice to Intent. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to Deborah_S_ Freeman@nbc.gov.
