- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This procurement is for the purchase of a Dental Imaging X-Ray System. A listing of the - Dental Imaging X-Ray System is below: Contract Line Item 0001 - Schick Dental DR Imaging X-Ray System 1 ea This system consists of the following: Schick Digital Dental X-Ray System to include 1 size one sensor, 1 size two sensor Schick CDR Single-User Software License NOMAD PRO Dental x-Ray System to include 2 battery packs, Battery Charger and Backscatter Shield USB Cable with built-in AC power line Remote USB sensor interface box Size 1 Universal Sensor Holder Set Size 2 Universal Sensor Holder Set Toughbook 52, Intel Core Due 2.0 GHZ Processor T2500, 15" 1600X1200 color display LCD, 80GB HDD, CD-RW/DVD-ROM, Wireless LAN, Windows XP and Targus Notepac Case Hardware and software integration Shipping This is an intention to Sole Source to limited sources. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-28(effective 12 Dec 2008) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20081124. FAR 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition. WAWF procedures also apply. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items, applies. Technical capability will be evaluated by how well the proposed product meets the government requirement instead of predetermined sub-factors. Evaluation Basis for Award: Award will be made to the offeror who has the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The delivery date of these items is 30 days after receipt of Order (DARO), FOB Destination, Brooks City-Base, TX. The NAICS Code is 811219 the size standard is $7.0M. The type contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. A due date of offers will be 4:00 PM, Central Time, 26 Dec 08. The 311th Human Systems Wing/PKBA, Brooks City-Base TX intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (c). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
