- This acquisition is being solicited under the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program, in accordance with FAR 19.13. The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision, work and facilities necessary to perform all operations, in strict accordance with specifications and applicable drawings. The following is a summary of work for Repair, Maintain and Construct Base Pavements IDIQ, located at Eielson AFB, AK. The project shall include, but is not limited to: 1. Maintain, repair, and construct base airfield pavement and surfaces. This work includes the use of Asphaltic Cement and Portland Cement Concrete type pavements for projects as specified in the individual Task Orders. 2. Repair, replacement and minor construction of base pavements, including sidewalks, roads, parking lots and other paved surfaces. This work includes the use of Asphaltic Cement and Portland Cement Concrete type pavements for projects as specified in the individual Task Orders. 3. Remove petroleum contaminated soils from project sites and deliver to an approved soil recovery facility. 4. Provide work in accordance with these specifications and the drawings as listed in the appendix. Specific description of the work is detailed in the Standard Details, Specifications, and Drawings. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a total of three (3) possible, one (1) base year and two (2) option year periods. Actual work requests will be issued on Task Orders based off line item unit prices. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237310 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The magnitude of this project is over $10M. This acquisition is being solicited under the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program, in accordance with FAR 19.13. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: PAPER COPIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.** All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program. The solicitation will be available on or about 27 January 2009. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement.
