- This acquisition is for Hospital Freight Management Service to include freight spend analysis and benchmarking, freight auditing, consolidated freight billing, and freight reporting for inbound and outbound shipments for Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston TX. A solicitation (Request for Quote) will be issued on or about 18 December 2008. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. The requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis and will be processed under commercial item procedures. The anticipated award will be for a base period of the date of award through 30 September 2009 plus four one year option periods. Award will be on an all or none basis. The solicitation will be available electronically at: https://www.fbo.gov/index?cck=1&au=&ck=. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued.
