- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE MODIFICATION: The Departmentof Energy(DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) intends to award a solesource task order modification to Rack-Wildner & Reese, Inc. d/b/a AkoyaunderGSA Order DE- NT0005282. The contractor was competitively awarded thistaskorder from the GSA MOBIS schedule. Other Direct Costs necessary andancillaryto the performance of the task order will be incurred for printing, display production, support and materials for putting on workshops, travelassociatedwith speakers for the National Building Museum lecture series, etc. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which theGovernment intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under theauthority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitiveproposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposalsreceivedwithin forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will beconsidered by the Government. A determination by the Government not tocompetewith this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solelywithin the discretion of the Government. Information received will normallybeconsidered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct acompetitive procurement.
