- This solicitation is for the acquisition of part-numbered NSN 5985-01-498-0332 that falls within the scope of this contract. In addition to the NSN specified in Section B of this solicitation, the scope of this contract includes all DLA and DOD managed NSNs for which one, any or all of the following is/are approved source(s): Atlantic Microwave Corporation (CAGE 28916); EDO Corporation (CAGE 00752). NSNs within the scope may be added to this initiative or any resulting contract(s) at a later date in accordance with Clause I16C04, Addition/Deletion of Items. NSN: 5985-01-498-0332 Item Description: Antenna Manufacturer's Code and Part Number : Atlantic Microwave Corportion (28916) Part Number COM201B; EDO Corporation (00752) Part Number C200-2-1. Quantity: Estimated ADQ 5715 Unit of Issue: EA Destination Information: Various DLA stocking locations. Delivery Schedule: See Clause F11D02 All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitationi for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirements with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. The solicitation will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on its issue date of: JANUARY 7, 2009. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
