- The following sentence is hereby deleted from the fourth paragraph of SpecialAnnouncement W15QKN-09-Z-0306: Parties interested in participating in both demonstrations must provide a different design for each demonstration. Therefore, the fourth paragraph of the announcement is changed... from:This demonstration is in addition to the 120mm mortar/105mm artillery demonstration in September 2009, which is discussed in Special Notices W15QKN-09-Z-0304 and W15QKN-09-Z-0305, and does not preclude industry from participating in the 120mm mortar portion of that demonstration. Parties interested in participating in both demonstrations must provide a different design for each demonstration. to:This demonstration is in addition to the 120mm mortar/105mm artillery demonstration in September 2009, which is discussed in Special Notices W15QKN-09-Z-0304 and W15QKN-09-Z-0305, and does not preclude industry from participating in the 120mm mortar portion of that demonstration. The primary reason for removing the sentence is that the wording unduly restricts the ability of a party with limited success results during the March demonstration to make the necessary fixes to their existing design and have the opportunity to demonstrate their capability during the September demonstration.
