- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE OR REQUEST FOR INFORMATION Department of Veterans Affairs VA-246-09-RQ-0035 Project: Maintenance Service Agreement for Lorad Mammography Unit The purpose of this SS is to identify qualified businesses that are interested in and capable of completing the work herein. The VA may or may not award a contract on the basis of responses. The VA will not pay for the preparation of any information submitted. As a result of the Notice, the VA may issue a Request for Proposal (RFP). There is no solicitation available at this time The Centralized Acquisition Service, VISN 6, Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources for a Maintenance Service Agreement for a Lorad (Hologic) digital Mammography unit located at their medical center in Fayetteville, NC. The service agreement should include telephone and diagnostic and repair support, as well as on-site assistance. Service agreement should also include two (2) PM inspections per year, software updates, and all replacement parts including glassware (excludes plastics). Interested parties are encouraged to submit information and service specifications no later than 1:00PM, Eastern Standard Time, on December 17, 2008. All responses will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
