- SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested sources and response to this RFI is voluntary and at the contractor's expense. The Government is seeking qualified sources with specific and recent experience to engineer, furnish, install, secure, and test (EFIT) equipment for a remote telecommunications node in a newly constructed facility capable of providing POTS, Nortel Electronic Business Set (P-Phone), and ISDN-BRI services at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, per the attached draft Statement of Work. Industry responses to this RFI may determine the Government's acquisition strategy. Responses shall explain in detail: (1) The contractor's specific and unique experience in performing EFIST and training for telecommunications systems described in the SOW in accordance with DoD and Marine Corps regulations;(2)The contractor's typical reporting methods and applications (e.g. PDF, Visio, AutoCad, or other software), to include an example of a previously generated report (Butterfly drawings, plant schematics, rack elevations, etc.); (3)The contractor's comments to the draft Statement of Work; (4)A reference list of related DoD contracts within the past three (3) years, to include contract number, dollar value, a brief description of services, and points of contact with phone number; (5) Information related to the contractor's business size and socioeconomic status; (6) A copy of the GSA Federal Supply Schedule if the contractor has a GSA contract; (7) suggested NAICS if different from 517919 This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and it does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
