- Description
- The Air Force (AF) Total Force (Active, Air National Guard and Reserves) requires a complete solution set Data-at-Rest (DaR) encryption technology approach that integrates with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) mandated Host Based Security System (HBSS) system. The proposed strategy should leverage the Offeror's selected vendor's Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to affect the migration of ~800k existing machines throughout ~250 Air Force locations to provide an integrated Full Disk Encryption (FDE)/File Encryption System (FES) and Removable Storage Media (RSM) encryption system. The Offeror's DaR solution must be capable of integrating with and being managed by the HBSS solution currently being deployed throughout the Air Force. DaR target dates are to reach Field Service Evaluation (FSE) by Aug 2009 and fully deployed no later than 12 months after FSE.
