Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Headsets and Battery Adapters) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), RFQ # M67399-09-Q-0005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-28. This is a restricted purchase set-aside for 100% small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423690. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) for this order is 5065. The small business size standard is 100 employees. The Federal Supply Classification (FSC) for this order is 5820. CLIN 0001QTY: 170HEADSETSLightweight headsets compatible with PRC-152 and PRC-148 radios. Single push-to-talk switch, able to be chest mounted using attached clothing clip. Weatherproof, able to withstand tactical environmental conditions. Includes earpiece. Does not include sniper switch. CLIN 0002QTY: 48 ADAPTER FOR PRC-152PRC-152 adapter for BA-5590. Approximately 3 ounces, 3 feet long. Accepts locking latches from radio. Must be dust-proof, sand-proof, and watertight up to IP67/NEMA 6P. Built-in over-voltage protection. Corrosion resistant, non-conductive connectors. Rugged design to withstand harsh environmental conditions. Compatible with BA-5590 batteries. Also compatible with PRC-148. CLIN 0003QTY: 20 TOUGHBOOK ADAPTER FOR BA-5590Snap-on or similar regulator with strap or similar to secure attachment. Compatible with Panasonic Toughbook model CF-29. Approximate cable length of 3 feet. Output voltage 16V at 4 AMPS. Epoxy powder coating or similar for extreme durability, strength approximately 10,000 PSI. Watertight up to IP67/NEMA 6P, humidity 95%, sand and dust proof. Built in thermal shutdown protection. Compatible with BA-5590. CLIN 0004QTY: 30 MBITR (PRC-148) ADAPTERApproximately 3 ounces, 3 feet long. Dust and sand proof, watertight up to IP67/NEMA 6P. Built-in over voltage protection. Rugged design to withstand harsh environments. Corrosion resistant, non-conductive connectors. Compatible with BA-5590. The Government is seeking F.O.B Destination. Place of contract delivery and acceptance will be at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC)/Marine Corps Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MCAGTFTC), Twentynine Palms, CA 92278. The vendor selected for award will be required to be registered with, understand, and invoice through Wide Area Workflow. Note: The completed provision at FAR 52.212-3 must accompany quote submittal. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1)Price. (2)Delivery. Ability to deliver all items approximately 30 days after receipt of order. Offerors shall include an estimated delivery date on their quotation, expressed as the number of days after receipt of order.
