- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Army Reserve Contracting Center-South intends to award sole source to Cardiac Science Corporation, to provide AED training for 88 trainers and purchase of 44 AED wall mount storage cases. This purchase will be made under commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award date is 12 December 2008. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this synopsis is 10 December at 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time.
