Description

The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Connecticut intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract, on a sole source basis, with Global Turbine Component Technologies LLC, 125 S. Satellite Road, South Windsor, CT 06078 for the overhaul/modification of eight T-53 2nd stage PT nozzles from P/N 1-140-470-05 to P/N 1-140-470R11. Global Turbine Component Technologies LLC is the only known approved source that can provide the required modification. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded, under the “Other than Full and Open Competition” procedures, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All qualified sources must respond in writing not later than 10:00 AM, December 23, 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communication is not acceptable in response to this notice. Offers must be submitted to the USPFO for Connecticut, Purchasing and Contracting Division, ATTN: Karen Havens, 360 Broad Street Hartford, Connecticut 06105-3779, via fax (860)524-4874 or e-mail: Karen.havens@ct.ngb.army.mil, Not Later Than 10:00 AM December 23, 2008.
