- Description
- GSA FAS Network Services Division (7QTC) of the Greater Southwest Region (7) has awarded multiple contracts under the Metropolitan Local Services Acquisition (MLSA) Solicitation 7TF-07-0006 for the Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio metropolitan award areas. These contracts will be Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for local telephone service that includes analog business lines, analog centrex lines or centrex type service with minimum features, ISDN BRIs/PRIs, DOD/DID trunks, T-1s, T-3s, and other pertinent services. The maximum contract value for each award area is as follows: Dallas - $16.5 mil, Fort Worth - $13.5 mil and San Antonio - $6.5 mil. The contract period will consist of a base period of three years and five 12-month options. The awardees are SBC Global Services, Inc, dba AT&T Global Services (Contract #GS07T09BGD0001) and tw telecom holdings, inc. (Contract #GS07T09BGD0002). Because this is a multiple award, GSA will use the fair opportunity process for all task orders under this contract. The award date for the Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio contracts is December 4, 2008. The Notice to Proceed date is estimated for December 2008. This completes all the awards under Solicitation 7TF-07-0006 for the MLSA procurement.
