- THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE TO EOD TECHNOLOGY FOR PSD SERVICES AT FOB SHIELD The Joint Contracting Command-Iraq hereby gives notice of its intent to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract to EOD Technology, located at: 2229 Old Highway 95, Lenoir City, TN 37771 for Personal Security Detail (PSD) services at FOB Shield, Iraq. The proposed contract is a "bridge contract" for ongoing and necessary PSD services at FOB Shield, Iraq for 30 days on a firm-fixed-price basis. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and DFARS 206.302-1. Interested parties not in concurrence with this sole source procurement may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. No solicitation will be made available. A determination by the Government not to open to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
