- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to issue an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract to Progeny Systems Corporation, pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. This notice was previously synopsized under solicitation number N66604-08-Q-1116. The previous solicitation number has been revised to N66604-09-R-0002. The contract will be issued on a sole-source basis to Progeny since the terms of an existing contract with Progeny prevent the Government from releasing or disclosing SBIR-specific data relative to Progeny’s COTS Technology Infusion process and procedure for five years after completion of the project under which the data was generated. Access to this data is necessary for the current procurement. The contract will include Cost Plus Fixed-Fee provisions with an estimated Level of Effort of (116,400) hours. This contract Statement of Work requires engineering services including technology assessment, mechanical and electrical component analysis, hardware/software development and integration, critical item testing, certification and test, and life cycle logistics studies necessary for the testing and evaluation, prototype and Engineering Development Model (EDM) components of torpedo systems. The period of performance will be for five years. Any interested party may submit an offer which will be considered. See Note 22.
