- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Construction Specialties Inc/ C/O WM H Scarlet & Associates of Southfield, MI 48034 for Acrovyn panels and mounting accessories. 8-1/4" high x 96" long x5/8" thick #410 Brushed Silver handrail backer. 3/8"thick Acrovyn Chameleon wall panel with z-clip. Acrovyn Corner Guard Model SSM20LAP, 2" legs, 1/4" radius, 9'-0" high, Brushed Silver #410. NAICS 332999 applies. Period of Performance shall be one year from the date of award, to completion. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 pm on December 18, 2008. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
