- Description
- A sole source modification to contract W911S6-08-C-0001 is contemplated with Sensor Research and Development (SRD) Corporation to provide additional sampler and sensor development work. The U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) installation has been awarded a project to investigate and develop the technology and sensor for under ensemble real time sampling during the current system individual protection ensemble (IPE) test, the Man-in-Simulant Test (MIST). The existing sensor technology will be modified for the testing and potential use for the SWATCH test program. The modification will also allow for additional development work for the sampling system developed under the original contract. Technology to be used was previously developed under an SBIR Phase III contract issued previously by the Department of the Defense. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, supplies, services, and/or equipment required are available from one responsible source and no other type of supplies, services, and/or equipment will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Supporting evidence must be furnished to demonstrate the ability to comply with the Government's requirements. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with sole source negotiations with SRD. The point of contract concerning this sole source action is Mr. Eric S.
