- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for equipment rental, drainage and site work at Clouter Creek Disposal Area, Berkeley County, SC. The work will consist of furnishing all plant, equipment, transportation, fuel-lubricant, supplies and materials and performing all operations in connection with moving materials within Clouter Creek Disposal Area. Work will include but not be limited to construction of drainage ditches, clearing, grading of existing dikes and berms, spreading of excavated materials to dry, windrowing, construction of haul routes and appurtenant items. This site is accessible only by water. This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR 19.502-2. The NAICS Code is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $33.5 Million. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price Construction Project. MAGNITUDE OF WORK $1,000,000.00 TO $5,000,000.00. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Contractor must be registered in CCR prior to award of a contract. Solicitation documents, plans, and specifications will only be available at https://www/fbo.gov It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments. The solicitation will be posted on or about 19 Dec 2008 with proposals due on or about 20 Jan 2009.
