Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being requested as a Request for Quote (RFQ); solicitation number is H92244-09-T-0061, as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract with fixed unit prices. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-27, effective 17 October 2008. North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) 332439 applies to this procurement. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The size standard is 500 employees. Schedule of Supplies/Services CLIN 0001 - Description: Portable Bullet Trap Target with detachable post and base, Bases must have four (4) heavy duty swivel locking caster wheels for ease of movement on-site. The trap must be a minimum of 36" x 24" x 4" and made with 3/8" AR 500 ballistic steel with a slide-out bullet catch tray in the bottom. Trap face will use repeatable self-sealing sheet rubber. Quantity: 40 ea. FAR 52.209-1 Qualification Requirements (FEB 1995) 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price, technical capability and delivery of the item offered to meet the Government's requirement. (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s).
