- The VA Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska intends to award a contract to Pitney Bowes Inc. to provide funds for postage (3) Pitney Bowes postage meters for the continued use of Pitney Bowes' Postage units. The systems are located at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE. The period of performance shall be one-year. VAMC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Pitney Bowes for funds for postage. Only Pitney Bowes can provide service to their meters. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253( c)(1), Justification: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. No solicitation exists. All interested parties shall respond to this notice within 7 days in writing to Patrice.pittman@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted.
