- Description
- This pre-solicitation notice is for the Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, and Repair of Fire Protection Related Systems on Fort Dix, NJ. The award will be a fixed price type contract with a base period and four 12 month option periods. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, transportation, materials, equipment, supervision, and appliances to complete and perform all operations as specified in the Statement of Work. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned small businesses. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561621 with a size standard of $12.5 Million. Prospective contractors must be a SDVO Small Business, as verified on Central Contractor Register (CCR) and Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA). Wages applicable to this operation are covered under Department of Labor Wage Determination WD 05-2449, Rev 6 dated 05/29/2008. The solicitation will be posted on or about 5 December 2008 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will include Federal Acquisition Regulation contract provisions and clauses, a bid schedule, and statement of work. The statement of work will include details of required work elements. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Internet site, www.ccr.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS.
