- This is a Request For Information (RFI) only and is not a solicitation, request for proposals or offer of work. The Government does not intend to accept or answer questions regarding this RFI or program at this time. The Marine Corp Logistics Command (MCLC) may seek multiple (3-5) logistics support integrators for a multiple-award Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to develop and manage a commercial capability (primarily through subcontracting) to remanufacture and/or repair selected ground support equipment components such as engines, transmissions, and other drive train components, and optics and electronic components that require an extensive industrial footprint on the battlefield (approximately 600 different items). The purpose of this RFI is to determine whether businesses would be interested in competing for one of three to five potential awards (for a base year plus four to six competitively awarded option years) for some part of the approximately 600 items to be remanufactured/repaired under this $35 million per year (total) multiple-award program. If you have the capability to perform this type of work please indicate in your response whether you would be interested in participating in a multiple award program of this size, your business size status and a brief (less than one page) statement regarding your capabilities to perform this work and any relevant past performance you have. THE SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO PROCURE ANY ITEMS/SERVICES, NOR FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO PAY FOR THE INFORMATION RECEIVED. NO ENTITLEMENT TO PAYMENT OF DIRECT OR INDIRECT CHARGES BY THE GOVERNMENT WILL ARISE AS A RESULT OF SUBMISSION OF RESPONSES TO THIS RFI AND GOVERNMENT USE OF SUCH INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS AT THIS TIME.
