- Description
- The United States Army Contracting Command, AMCOM Contracting Center anticipates awarding a new contract for Contractor Logistics Services for the Extended Range/Multi-Purpose Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), Block 1, Quick Reaction Capability (QRC). The effort will be performed at the UAS Training Battalion at Ft. Huachuca, AZ and at established OCONUS deployment sites. The planned period of performance is a 12-month basic effort with two option periods of 12 months each. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this contract shall be awarded on an other than full and open competitive basis to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc, San Diego, CA. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc is currently supporting various phases of the ER/MP program. Award to other than intended source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirements (FAR 6.302-1). All responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered. All responses should be directed to Patricia Vail at patricia.vail@us.army.mil and must be received within fifteen (15) days of this notice. This is not a formal notice of solicitation.
